Paleo goulash

Paleo Gulasch

Paleo goulash? Okay, so it's not entirely Paleo. But the broth we simmered for it more than makes up for it. Our organic grass-fed beef bone broth, Pur&Paleo, is the perfect base for this uncomplicated and incredibly delicious goulash. It even tastes a little bit better than Mom 's!

Ingredients:

  • 400g beef, preferably calf
  • 400g onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 chili pepper
  • 1 tuber(s) of celery
  • 1 carrot
  • 100g tomatoes
  • 525ml pasture beef bone broth Paleo&Pur
  • Salt pepper
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder
  • Almond butter
  • Olive oil for frying

ZUBEREITUNG

  • Cut the organic beef into bite-sized pieces (unless the butcher has already done so).
  • Then roughly dice the onions, tomatoes, celery & carrots, and then finely chop the garlic & chili.
  • Heat a Dutch oven and sear the salted meat in olive oil. Add the celery and carrot and sauté briefly. Add the onions, garlic, and chili, then deglaze with the broth.
  • Finally, add the bell peppers and tomatoes and let everything simmer in the oven at 130°C (265°F) for at least 6 hours with the lid on. Then pour everything into a sieve and collect the liquid. Stir in some almond butter until the sauce is nice and thick.
  • Finally, season with salt and pepper, divide onto plates and garnish with a little greenery to taste.
