There's rice, baby! And we're talking really good sushi rice that works in all kinds of dishes. Whether it's a rice bowl, sushi, or onigiri – with this recipe, you'll always have perfectly sticky rice. Let's rice up!
Ingredients for 2 people:
- 500g Organic Sushi Rice
- 510 ml water
- 2.5 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1.25 tablespoons of sugar
- 1.25 tsp salt
- Tip: PEANUT SOYA RAYU
ZUBEREITUNG
- Wash the sushi rice thoroughly and let it rest for 1 hour.
- Mix together rice vinegar, sugar and salt.
- Pour 510 ml of water into a pot (preferably with a glass lid) and add the sushi rice. Only then turn on the heat/stovetop. As soon as steam is visible around the lid, increase the heat and cook for 3 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and let it steep for 13 minutes. Then gently stir in the vinegar mixture.
- Inspiration for the perfect rice bowl: kimchi, scrambled eggs, red cabbage, spring onions and of course avocado.
