A dish like a warm hug: tender sliced beef in a creamy sauce, served with golden-brown crispy potato rösti – soul food par excellence! You can treat not only your loved ones, but also yourself.
Ingredients for 2 people:
- 200 ml organic bone broth, grass-fed beef
- 300g of sliced beef
- clarified butter for frying
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 150 g mushrooms
- 2 small onions
- 100 ml cream
- Chives for seasoning
- 4 medium-sized waxy potatoes
- pinch of nutmeg
- Organic Spicy Chili Oil
ZUBEREITUNG
- Briefly fry the sliced beef in clarified butter, season with salt and pepper. Then remove the meat from the pan.
- Add sliced mushrooms and onions and sauté for 4-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Deglaze with the broth and reduce by half over medium heat.
- Add cream and simmer again until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the seared meat back in and heat briefly. Garnish with chives.
- For the rösti:
- Coarsely grate raw potatoes and then squeeze out the excess liquid using a kitchen towel.
- Season the potato mixture with salt, pepper and a pinch of nutmeg.
- Heat clarified butter in a pan and spread the rösti mixture evenly. Fry until crispy on both sides.
- Portion the rösti as desired, arrange with the creamed sliced meat, and drizzle with a little chives and chili oil as a finishing touch. Tip: Bake the rösti first and keep it warm in the oven at about 70°C until serving.
